Care Associates
We are a private, independently owner managed company, founded in 1995, providing a wide range of homecare (domiciliary) services to people in Ilford and the surrounding areas.
Our goal
To provide the highest standard of care that we can in the way that best suits your needs. We do this by always meeting with you face to face as a no obligation free service. There we will listen to you. You can explain what you require of us. If you are not sure of what you want to achieve then we will work with you to come up with a plan of care that you are comfortable with. At Care Associates we will do our very best to meet your needs and requests.
Our staff
Are all recruited to the highest standards. They are all checked against the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and the Protection of Vulnerable Adults (PoVA) lists prior to them starting work.
A high percentage of our loyal staff has a National Vocational Qualification level 2 or 3 and has been with us for a number of years. They receive induction training which gives them an understanding of their role and responsibilities, health and safety and knowledge of what we, as an organisation, are working towards.
Our carers are drawn from the local community and have a cultural diversity to match, which means that we are often able to match carers and customers where there is a preference expressed.
Our standard of care
We are registered with and inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) which is the government regulator in England. Our rating with the CQC is 3*(Star) Excellent awarded in June 2007 (view rating).
Our latest report is also available (view report).
We are also members of the United Kingdom Home Care Association (UKHCA) a professional body that promotes high standards of care and providing representation with national and regional policy-makers and regulators.
