Homecare Services
Our care process
Stage 1
The Homecare team based in the Waterfoot office will first receive your homecare enquiry. A member of the team, Ryan, Sarah, Denise, Jodie, Vicky, Julie or Viv will discuss your specific requirements with you and get to know your personality and preferences. They will provide information on the services that are available to you, as well as an outline of costs and various funding options available.
Stage 2
We will arrange for a member of the care team to visit you and carry out a comprehensive assessment of your personal needs. Following this visit, a full package will be offered.
Stage 3
We will finalise your support plan with you and representatives, making sure you are happy with every aspect of that planning process.
Stage 4
We will identify suitable healthcare professionals to support you in-line with your support plan and arrange for you to meet them to ensure that all of your needs are met.
Stage 5
Your person centred service commences
Sometimes being at home is just the best place to be and along with being in your own environment family and friends can drop in at any time with no strict visiting times. Being at home can also be great value for money.
As we grow older we may find that as individuals our health can become a cause for concern through a variety of reasons. It may also be a factor that a married couple for example, may work as a unit and when through bereavement one or the other partner are left on their own, they lack the skill in house keeping that would have enabled them to live in an independent fashion.
At Homecare Services we understand that it can sometimes be difficult to find the right level of service to fully support you whilst not undermining your ability to remain as independent as possible. A learning disability no longer prevents someone living life to the full. Our approach is person centered and based on independence, dignity, choice, privacy and respect.
